Our Journey - MedLink
MedLink was founded by a group of high school students who share a strong interest in pursuing medicine and other fields related to health sciences and healthcare, including Biomedical Science.
Driven by their shared passion, the students began creating opportunities to explore the medical profession, gain real-world experiences, and use their abilities to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Year One
Discovering Medicine
MedLink began by organizing hospital visits, where students had the opportunity to observe and learn about the work of doctors and healthcare professionals. These experiences allowed them to see the realities of medical practice and gain a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals.
The MedLink students later organized a fundraising project through the sale of products. The funds raised were used to support the purchase of medicines and the work of volunteer medical teams. Through this experience, the students learned that helping others can begin with small actions and a willingness to contribute.

MedLink then had the opportunity to join a volunteer medical team on a journey to Mae Chaem District, Chiang Mai, particularly to remote and highland communities. There, the students witnessed the challenges faced by people who have limited access to healthcare services. They also observed that skin conditions were relatively common among some members of these communities.

This experience helped the students understand that medicine is not only about treating illness, but also about bringing knowledge, understanding, and compassion to people who may have limited access to care.
From a group of students who simply shared a dream of pursuing careers in healthcare, MedLink has continued to grow through learning, sharing, and taking action. Today, MedLink strives to empower young people to use their knowledge and abilities to care for others and contribute meaningfully to society.
